Thanks, guys!
Hopefully in April I'll get several chances for photo ops with fellow Stangers since my March weekends from here on out are work weekends

Loving the GT500 front end...I want to do that, but I also want the Halo headlights.

Very nice man. It's good to see someone's vision for the car setting it apart from all the others.

Now if I can only get my Roush front end I'll be alright

HELL YEAH!!!!! I've never seen it before, so I was unsure what to expect once I saw it in person for the first time. When I did see it for the first time...

Do you have pics of the car before?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume you're a Metallica fan? Planning on picking up Guitar Hero Metallica when it comes out?

I bought the Steeda hood for my car, it goes on this Friday. I am a little concerned about hood flutter, I don't want to do hood pins. Could you let me know if you have much of a problem with it? I saw some pins from WMS that go under the hood that you can't see, but they are over $200. I will get them if I have to.

I don't really like the WMS pins from a design stand point but I guess they'd be okay for that purpose. I'd just reconsider using a traditional style hood pins like Shelbys that are made by Scott-Drake. They are by far the best hood pins out on the market in my opinion. On a side note, the Steeda hood is aluminum right?

It's fiberglass. I just don't really like hood pins, I didn't really look into the WMS ones too close, just saw them on MM&FF I think. Good to see you joined fnsweet by the way, happy to see good results from the TVS as well.

It has some flutter, but it's not until you get up near triple digits, but it's not anywhere near the amount the stock hood did! I had the Scott Drake pins with the stock hood and I don't want to ruin the clean look I have now!

Thanks, hopefully I get lucky with it as well, I never had much of a problem with the stock hood either. Nice work on your car, looks great.

I think it's a SHR cap with a badge put on it.

can you get pics of your hood paint indoors? In a garage? with indoor lighting? Just to keep reflection from the sky down?

It is a SHR cap and I put a '68 GT wheel center piece on it. I'd like to swap it outand get the smaller "GT" emblem that they used on the gas caps in the '60s.
