As my last thread said, one wheel is further back than the other. I dont know why this is, as far as i know this car has never been wrecked. I took pics to give a better idea and hopefully ge some help on what it is and if its a pain to fix. I was tinking maybe some mm cc plates would fix it as they can align caster and camber much more. Let me know what you think. Ive been under the car, and the a-arm and k-member look fine. No odd twists or bends whatsoever

have you looked at the spindles, see if they look the same..... maybe someone put one on because of breakage or something, and didn't realize it was different

i would look at your control arms too, maybe someone put a fox control arm on that side. what is your caster set at?

Measure the distance from the back wheel centers to see if distance is same.

could the stock K member be F'd up? Looks like it may have been in an accident maybe and it got the K pushed back?

Jack it up and post some pics of both sides from under the car of the susp. and K member mounting points.

looks like either the control arm is bent or your k-member shifted back.

I had the same problem in one of previous mustangs. The previous owner had bent the control arm running into something. But, when I switched it out, the problem continued, so I don't think it's just your control arm.

ok, i was so busy looking at the kmember and aarm that i didnt even pop the hood. It looks liek the STOCK cc plates were removed and adjusted. The rivet isnt even there, as theres no hole for it to go into in its new location. The whole thing is moved toward the front of the car. I still dotn see how cc plates would fix this as the a-arm doesnt move. Everyone keep ssaying to get new cc plates. I have some MM cc plates sitting here, just doubt theyll fix THAT. any takers???

somebody moved your CC plates forward??
so you are running lots o' neg. caster, does your car have bad top end stability?

yep, theyre clearly moved forward. And yes, it shakes like a mofo at around 130ish. car feels like its gonna jump off the road

this crap is killin me, grr.

the cc plates are a good place to start especially if they have been messed with. let us know how it goes.

might wanna check your balljoints while you're down there too. I've had bad experiences with those messing up my front end.

I have the same problem but my passengers side is farther back, If you do a search theres alote of people who have had threds about this issue including a thred I did a while ago, we think its a factory k-member problem on some mustangs. The cc plates dont have the capabilities to move the wheel center that far back.

I agree with 1trikgt, seems to be more of a k-member problem than CC plate problem. Maybe previous owner hit curb hard and shifted the k-member back on that side or bent a CA real bad. i definately would not drive it at high speeds like that if it starts vibrating as you described.

ever notice how crap breaks at the wrong time? I had just ordered bilsteins and mm cc plates a week ago, lol. As a college student, that hurt my pocket enough, but i was GOING TO be happy once installed until i saw this stuff, lol. Anyone know where i can find a new k-member? I cant get an aftermarket one, as they are $600ish (mm) and all seem to require a coilover conversion. So a stock one will have to do for now.

Ive been super busy, but i will post a pic of the stock cc plate asap!

you might want to check with brothersperformance.com , i was browsing their take off parts section and they had a stock k-member for sale cheap.
