I just took some pics of my buddies new 86 gt t-top he picked up. it still needs some more TLC lick panel aligning and some paint work but it looks killer with his new FR500's and the 5 lug

get rid of the 5.0 logo it looks silly on that car and ditch the mud flaps, but other than that it is a sweet ride

the 5.0 logo looks silly on that car? that is quite a confusing statement for me. i think the 5.0 logo looks right at home on any fox body, just as long as its in the right place

it looks like a good starting point though. the first place id go is to the body shop to have it all re-done in silver but with stock charcoal moldings/window trim/headlight buckets. id also change the wheels to something thats not black.

and for the love of god make sure he keeps it a 4-eye!

+1 No mud flaps. My second favorite next to a four eyed Ttopped notch. Sweet though, is it a 5 speed?

Going by the shifter knob as seen in the interior pic, I would say 5 speed, as they all should be IMO. Being a fellow owner of the same year and model I say great car and great choice. Unfortunately both are cars share the rather undesirable color of the interior. But nice car nonetheless.
