For a stock casting, that's pretty damn nice looking. I guess it's good that these are so smooth, because aftermarket heads are going to be a looooong way off (it's taken awhile for the industry to produce 2V heads, let alone 4V!)

Should be easy to run some nice boost with combustion chambers like that, though. Mmm.... GTR-40 maybe?

wow not bad, I wonder why they didn't just go with the 4valve?

Prolly since they already adapted it to the F150 and I bet money was a factor, but that's just an edjumacated guess.

I talked to the guy that is doing a lot of the R & D for Ford and he says these heads flow 200 out of the box and 250 with medium work. The flow numbers were at .500.

I asked about the deep combustion chambers and he smirked and said I was the only one all day that asked about them, then he changed the subject so I did not push the issue. My guess it is to lower compression for lots of boost ?
