And yes, I DO know the engine won't fit in the engine bay with the headers on, I just put them on for the pics. And also the block doesn't look nearly as light of a blue in person...it's Ford blue.

I also plan on painting all my accessory brackets/accessories black. I have unpainted aluminum pullies right now and I'm wondering if you guys think I should put them on with the aluminum look or paint them black.

Should have this beast sitting in my coupe some time this week :D

Sure :D

The engine basicly consists of:
69 351W block bored .30 over
DSS 408 stroker kit
custom cam from Buddy Rawls designed with a little juice in mind ;)
AFR 205 cylinder heads w/nitrous porting option
TFS Box R intake manifold
42lb/hr fuel injectors
Accufab 90mm throttle body.

After next season when the engine is good and broken in and I have time to ditch the stock fuel lines and add a second fuel pump, I'm probly gonna throw a 200 shot of nitrous at it.

The car it's going in to is a 1991 4 cylinder coupe w/the Maximum Grip box from MM.

Gonna try and scrape together the spare change to buy a big brake kit before the spring....Don't really wanna be stopping that engine with the stock brakes if I can avoid it :D

Thanks for the compliments guys. Hopefully the weather warms up in the next few days so I can actually work on my car. By the weekend I hope to have the engine in and to get the ride height adjusted properly in the car aswell as get rid of the nasty toe-in I have at the front right now. Probly have some more progress pics then!

Here's the update for the weekend....

First time the car has sat on the ground in the last 2.5 months....Put full MM suspension in it. Only stock item on the entire car is the front sway bar...still needs alignment/ride height adjustments.

Finally...got the engine in the car :D

MUCH to my surprise, that MM strut tower brace fits. Everybody told me that I would have clearance issues, but I think there's more room there than with the stock engine....Unfortunately it looks like i need a big hood...3.5-4"

ANYWAY, that's it for now....Tomorrow I intend to have the headers in and maybe a couple other things...we'll see.
