I finally got most of the motor together and I'm getting ready to put it back into the car. I took a couple of pics in the mean time.

Me and the motor.

Looks sweet....Like the TF covers..
Looking at the motor like that, you'd think the stock hood would never clear..

That's a sweet looking motor, and the parts in youir sig have me drooling.

How high do you plan to spin it? What internal balance did you go with?

Looking good! Looks similar to my combo.

Whats the rpm band on the cam? Mines 3200-6400. Are you running a 2.5" or 3" VRS X pipe? Make sure you open up the restrictive BBK collector, it necks down to near 2.25" Hows that VRS X pipe look over all? I'm going to be ordering a 3" X from them for my car.

Thanks for the comments. As for changing the oil, I drilled a hole in the top of one of the valve covers and I'm not sure on what to do after that...I was thinking of welding a 2" tube on the top of the hole and capping it. As for the specs on the motor, I don't want to spin it past 6000...The cam's rpm band is 2800 to 5800 so much higher would be pointless...I got a 2.5" VRS and it doesnt look like it was very good quality. It comes uncoated. But, it looks like it will work. How would I open up the BBK collector?

Use a die grinder or a dremel with a grinding bit on it. If you look at the collector you'll see how much is necks down. Definatly too small! I opened mine up to appx 2.75", but when I get the 3" X pipe, i'll get it as close to 3" as I can.

Why did you pick a Victor EFI manifold if you didn't want to shift it higher than stock? I use a TFS R and shift at 6,700.

Looks great!

What are you doing for crankcase ventilation? My Victor intake doesn't have a PCV, so I have a breather in both VC's.

I was wondering the same thing? If you wanted a 6000rpm shift point there are much better suited intakes than the Victor for that combo.

I bought the victor because I wanted more air flow and it has a gap for cooling. I'm not sure on crankcase ventilation yet.

Drill the valve cover and run the pcv line there like a chevy or run an evac set up.
