There do seem to be different straps. I've got a set that doesn't quite seem long enough on my '78.

There is an eBay seller that has new reproduction fuel level senders made of stainless steel. They are correct replacements for the V8 version, but will work with any. They are $100 each, plus shipping, and he's sold a lot of them since I first saw them.

That's a good looking sender. I'm not sure that I need a stainless steel one for $100 though. I'd check around with the other MII suppliers like Phil to see if they have it new in plain steel. I wonder who the manufacturer of this one is...

This guy has new tank straps for a bunch of Mopars...maybe he can get some for the MII also?

I'll try (again) to get the tank into my '78 Ghia this weekend so I can get some pics. If the rain will ever stop...

If it doesn't fit on your car does it mean it made for the "first generation" of MII? If yes, I would love to buy them from you if you can send me pictures!!!

Thank you very much for the link. I will ask him if he can get the straps! But we do already have the sending unit for MII and I know the compagnie that does those sending unit, they are good quality but they are plated and not stanless!! The onely thing left that we don't have is the straps!
