This is one of the very first if not the first KB 2.2 for a GT that i've heard of so far. This one belongs to Gi Joe(Dave Lewis)

We'll have results shortly..I predict 700rwhp........

We have a 5 speed car and a automatic car getting 2.2's..Both have made over 650rwhp with Vortech and Paxton blowers.With the heads([email protected] I [email protected]) I predict 700rwhp..........We'll know in a few weeks once we get both cars fired up..


KB has been great at getting us the first "beta" kits to test on current high hp cars.We appreciate Jim's faith in us and would also like to thank the whole KB staff for standing behind us on being the beta shop for the new 2.2..We'll have results in a few weeks and look forward to releasing what Im sure will be awesome numbers..
James is our sales rep and has been awesome at responding to our needs..The kit is badass..Thats about the only way to put it..

also forgive my ignorance on the subject tim. but with the new 2.2, i know that it's a larger blower, but how does it go abou tmaking that much more power? just a larger blower? more efficent? or is it capable of running more boost? to get those huge rwhp numbers. i know you haven't done any testing on it yet, but i'm just kind of curious

No pricing yet.Its in beta and they'll have pricing once thier testing is done..

It will require a built engine..

That was an engine dyno with the 1.7..........

If we make 700rwhp that would be 824HP on an engine dyno.

Its more efficent and larger.I know what KB got from an automatic car ..After hearing what they got with more testing to be done,I think 700 is a good possibilty with the heads on these two cars.

What kind of hood would a 99+ 'Stang have to get? A 3" cowl hood? A Cobra R 2K hood? And does anyone know the exact price of this 2.2 KB SC?
