Pierce Country Emissions?

I am stationed at Ft. Lewis and am looking for a clear answer about emissions testing in Pierce Country for a 1994 mustang gt.

Just what, exactly, is required to pass?

I dont know what you really mean,....it just has to pass, they dont check the car and inspect it really. They stick probes in the exhuast make you run it at idle & at 25mph on rollers. If it passes your good. I put alittle something in my tank to make sure it passes though. Its been years sence I had to pass though, Kitsap county= no emission

Thats what I mean, what does the test involve? Just how modded can you get and still pass?

Could I pass with longtubes and a catted-X pipe?

yes, mods are ok as long as you pass. I passed the last time with BBK longtubes & a catted BBK H pipe. I had no air pump too.
