pilot bearing Vs. bushing

Bushing=simple in design, no moving parts to fail, more friction leads to more wear on the input shaft or bushing itself
Bearing=less friction, less wear, rollers could potentially fail, but the likelihood is low. should last longer than a bushing, but cost more to replace. Mine cost around $14 I think at Napa.
 
I think I replied to the last thread about this so you can probably just pass by my reply.

The bushing's strong point is that it's more forgiving with improper input-shaft alignment/index.

In general however, I'd take a bearing every time.
