pin on hatch

Alright ive got a 89gt and a pin on style hatch with a Lexan window. Does anybody know how to set this up? like are there any write-ups hidden in any forum, im having a hard time running this info down.

Well i have fibreglass hatch on my car but i opted for the hinged style. I also installed lexan in it.

Hey, do you guys notice traction issues with the lighter hatch/glass setup out back. I was wanting to do this myself, but wasn't sure about the loss of weight in the rear.

yes i thought about that before i did it. I have relocated my battery to the rear and my nitrous bottle. So i'm not sure if i have actually lost any wieght in the back.

my fiberglass back with the lexan is SOOOO much lighter than stock stuff. i drove with nothing on the tail to see how it would hook while in the middle of the project. 1st useless, 2nd higher speed of no traction, 3rd doesnt stop spinning till about 5k rpm. now thats on a relitively stock 5.0 with 10k still left on 245/55/16. also on the back street of my neighbor hood, not the track

Well i have 275's on the rear of my car and yes on the street i can smoke lots of my gears on the track however with slicks the car hooks up very well. at a proper track i have gotten many 1.6 sixty foot times.
