What a total waste of time. If you didn't go, count yourself lucky. I want that three hours of my life back.

I arrived late due to CCC. I did not foresee the huge crowd that was in attendance. Selling beer netted big money for PR and some really interesting behavior from a few of those in attendance. Oh well, I guess I am too old and unaccustomed to such events. I can shed some light on the second race:

The Chevelle was a throttle stop car set-up to run that 10.90 dial in class (forgot the name). I suspect that the car hooked fine when the electronics fed the power gradually so the car ran the number (10.90), but when he tried to go flat out... no traction. The owner didn't do his homework!

Pinks was alright, couldn't hear announcer on the sides of the track, about the best places to be were right behind where all the action was taking place. Otherwise you had to call to hear the negotiations on your cell phone. OUCH. I passed on that option. I'm sure there was charges on that one. If you called, lemme know how your cell phone bill turns out. The Malibu was up from Olympia. The Camaro from somewhere up North. Other then that I dunno. I called it quits after the first half. Next time I go to the strips I am wearing a stangnet shirt or something so maybe I can meet some people.

I didn't see it, but I had my nose under the hood a good portion of the day trying to get my car to run right.
