piston cc

what is the cc of the stock ford ho 87-92 5.0 piston
and do n e of you know how to calculate the compression if so what do i need to do to calculate mine
i know it have to do with head volume piston cc head gasket thickness but not sure wht to do with that
thank you for reading

4.00" bore
3.00" stroke

Stock heads are 64cc, .041" thick headgasket, and stock pistons are -5 cubic centimeters.

How far is your piston down or up from the deck? It can vary from -.010" to .010" or so.

Using .005" below the deck and a 4.100" bore diameter gasket, I get 8.830:1 :)

Compression Ratio = (Clearance Volume + Displacement Volume) / Clearance Volume

Clearance Volume = Combustion Chamber Volume + Piston Dish Volume + Deck Clearance Volume + Head Gasket Volume + Volume Above Compression Ring

Displacement Volume = (pi/4)*(B^2)*S

Throw those in Excel and you can have fun all day. :)
