This will be my first rebuild. Im building a 347, hbeam rods, 18cc dished piston. My cam is trick flow stg2 224 intake/232 exhaust .339 in./.352 in. .542 in./.563 in. . I need to know, some procedures/tips on checking piston valve clearance, and also adjusting the rockers. Do you guys think i will need to have these pistons cut up more? Also they are scat rods, any idea if i will have to have the block clearanced? I haven;t begun assembly yet, just gettin an idea of the work i will be doing.
