hey guys im in the process of rebuilding my motor for my 4 cyl swap. i got a used short block from a town car that had the non-h.o. heads. my question is that do the pistions need to be flycut for the h.o. heads to clear?
most of them engines had dish pistons with no valve reliefs, I would take the engine to a machine shop and have the bores checked if they are still fairly round and will take a hone look for a set of used stock Forged pistons if you are trying to do this on the cheap. If not get a set of std. bore replacements
