placement of throttle/return spring on a 2v Motocraft carb

Hi there

I cant figure out where the throttle/return springs are mounted on my carb. The car came with a GM spring kit on the carb. It works terrable. So I bought a unversal spring kit with a bunch of sizes. Does anyone have a schematic or photo of the proper mounting of these springs thanks

Mount it what ever way works best. Most had the spring attached to a tab bolted forward of the carb. Use only enough pressure to close the throttle. Too much wears out the throttle shaft bushings too soon
