Well, three days after I get my new door hinges and drivers fender on the car, I hit a deer. Now I need a new hood, front bumper, headlight, turn signal lamp, "head light mounting bracket", and maybe another new fender, s*&T!!!
The car is not really streetable now, but with a little duct tape it might be...If I was planning on doing an engine build this winter, should I start that now or do the body work? A shop will be doing the body work, and some of the engine work may be done at the dealership I work at. I do have another car to drive, so the Stang can sit if need be...

Gives you a reason to get some Cobra body pieces, if you don't have them, already. My dad lives in Marysville and does paint and body work for "reasonable" prices. If you don't have a shop in mind, yet. I was actually in Ashley, today. Sorry to hear about your trouble, though.

From what I heard, from the guy who put on my hinges and other people, Ford door hinges are some of the worst to put on. He said the job took about 3 hours, and that was with the fender off. They are not easy to get to i guess. Mine just wore out after years of use.

i would do some body work and get that all out of the way. get new headlights and nice hood and bumper. get the whole thing painted while your at it. then when that is all done, you won't have to worry about anything body related for a long time.

long time = when Bambi's cousin's decide it's time for more work.
