One of the threaded, metal bungs that the sensors screw into on the intake coolant-crossover just popped out and gushed fluids all over my engine bay. Has anyone else encountered this - if so, is there a simple fix that doesn't involve another intake swap? I'm thinking JB Weld or something...

:fuss:

I'm so f'ng sick of these composite intakes. This is the second intake I've put on this car. The first replacement had an aluminum crossover and the plastic part of the intake that retains the o-ring gasket where the aluminum crossover bolts to BROKE. I just bought another plastic one so I wouldn't have that same problem again, and now THIS! Is there no end???? If I have to replace this intake again I'm buying an all aluminum one and calling it a day...something Ford should have done in the beginning.

Yeah, before my intake cracked, the threaded part for my coolant temp sensor blew out. JB weld worked for 2 years for me. One time I had to change my sensor and I just chipped the JB weld off, removed it, re-JB'd it and that worked fine. Looked bad but meh.
