i just plasti gauged my rods and they came out to .076mm the smallest measurement on the plasti gauge. i was wondering if this is good or bad? my problem was when i torqued all the rods it would not spin if the 4th cylinder was torqued all the way. im hoping its just a bent rod. thanks

.075 sounds a little loose..If I remember correctly I was shooting for .0022 to .0025..some one else may need to correct me on that..

Not related to your problem, when I built my 1st motor I put the thust bearing in the back..I took it too the machine shop cuz I could figure out what I was doing wrong..the machine shop guys had a good laugh..

There's something wrong jrod92. Your clearances are way too wide. Also check to make sure you don't have that #4 cap flipped or that the piston wasn't pressed on the rod backwards. The tapered side of the rod bearing needs to face outward to the crank.

OOPS, you threw me off with the millimeter measurement. That converts to .00299. So you're in the ballpark but .00299 is a little wider that I like for rods.
