hey all, i just got my block last week, everything looks good, but to make sure i want to check the rods with the plastic gauge stuff.
where do i get it, and what numbers will i be looking at for a healthy crank...
your crank shaft doesnt really matter. as long as its in nice shape thats all that matters. if you got the grand ground some, then your set. and should have some thicker bearing also.
look in a chiltons or haynes book for the tolerances. i dont remember them at the moment. but if they are out of tolerance. get a thinner, thicker bearing to make the clearance correct.
