Probably about 15-20lbs if I remember correctly. As to whether its "worth it" in order to remove it.....that's up to you. It's true, removing weight is a good thing, but you're removing it from the absolute best place on the car for any added weight to be. Right over and in line with the contact patch of the rear tires.
and if you DO decide to remove it, make sure you re-attach the upper stamped steel mounting brkt as this is the contact bracket for the rear pinion snubber, failure to re-attach the upper brkt could result in the car bottoming-out or having a driveshaft rub
