please help! belt size for my stang

hey guys i need to know what size belt is used on my car. its an 89 5.0 with a/c and the smog pump is deleted. i would just buy them and return them till i get it right but i live 20 miles to the closest auto store. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

in that pic that is how i have mine routed but every other mustang i see it goes over the waterpump then down to the crank

Mine goes around the crank then up to the water pump then down to the smog pump delete pulley then up to the alt.

i have a 5.0 it goes over a/c under tensioner over alt. under crank over water over p.s. pump its supposed to go under tensioner over water pump under crank over p.s. pump

the frist one is right if you just went over tenisoner over water then you would skip the alt.

no goes under tensioner over alt then makes a diagonal line to the water pump. it then goes over the water pump and makes like a backwards s under the crank

Yeah that sounds right..your bypassing the smog pump right. after it goes over the crank it should run to p/s pump and a/c if you have it
