My uncle has an 84 monte and is always looking for parts. I would assume then that anyone who has the older models may very well be in the market for parts. It would be economically feasable to part it out if you cannot sell it whole. Either way I guess you would stand to make some cash.

Monte Carlo's don't really have high retail value...nor are they popular. I'd say lower your price a little and sell it as a whole. I think your going to take a loss on this one, unfortunately.

Sorry to say man but I think $2000 is kinda high for that monte, it's a decent looking car for the year but def. not one of the more popular body styles of monte's. I would say about $1600-$1700 would be more realistic.

$2000 is a great deal for that car, you just have to find some one that likes Monte's. I would drop the price to $1500 firm. Then you'll sell it.

Throw some 24" rims on it($2000) and put a For Sale sign on it for $5000, and you'll get a donk lover to buy it in a second.

Yeah, if that was for sale near me, it wouldn't last 10 minutes.

You really are right. OP go and buy the 24's like he said and a S-10 lift kit and you will have Paul Wall wannabe's all over that.
