hey guys i have a 94 gt with the 5 spd and i want to replace the cluth ive never did this i had a 93 ranger and paid 1600 to get the clucth replaced i want to do the labor my self i have a very mechanicly inclined frine who is in to rock cwaling he said hes never replaced a clucth on a mustang but he says it cant be that diff please tell me what alll replacing the cluthc intals and ware the best place would be to order the kit american musle has a stage 2 kit up to 500lbs tourge for 219.00 comes with throw out bearing clutch and the tool and i would also like to know if i should get a new flywheel please help thanks
 
Alright first of all, learn to spell. Second of all, a clutch on our stangs isn't that hard. All you have to do is drop the H-pipe, remove the driveshaft, remove the clutch cable, unbolt the cross member/tranny/shifter/bellhousing and remove it and you have full access to the clutch/flywheel. Always resurface the flywheel if not replacing. Make sure your clutch kit comes with the tool to align the clutch because it makes it alot easier. If you don't have much done to the car, I would recommend a Centerforce dual friction clutch.
