Please help with idle...I just want to drive my car!

I understand that, but when you talk about valves being out of adjustment are you referenceing rocker adjustment or something to do with the springs. Please bear with me because I am still learning when it comes to some of the more in depth aspects of engine work.

If the rockers are too tight, the valves will not close completely. This will cause idle problems and poor performance.

thanks for the help jr....I bet that is where some of my problem is! I am still in the process of checking the other things you mentioned as well. . Hopefully next time I post it will be good news.

I also have that problem but now my fuel pump does not turn on...
