Hi my name is Jacob and I am having a running issue went I take off my car wants to die in first and when sitting at idle after 3-4 mins it's like it runs out of gas and shuts off I've replaced the fuel filter and spark plugs and check my air intake I have no clue what to do please help
Ok, a couple things to check, first, here is a surging idle checklist, 'but I don't have a surging idle' you say, well this list will give you the diagnostic procedures to find your problem.
off the top of my head I would say fuel pump but don't go by some keyboard mechanic and randomly throw money away and chase your tail, the list will show you how to check for codes, test the fuel pump and other things, so go through the checklist and if you get stuck ask here and members will chime in.
