Is it an early build 05? It may have a problem with the global windows feature.. which is why they de-activated it.

If you have the active alarm system, I would almost guarentee that the global windows feature is what is causing your problem.

I beleive they had a problem with water getting in the doors and causing problems with the module. They disabled the feature about mid year on the 05 builds.

I beleive you will have to take it to a dealer to get it fixed.

The service department at the major dealer in Richardson, Tx seems to be inept, i have talked to two guys over there so far and neither of them have heard of anything like this. What a couple of tools they have been. All they kept saying is that i need to bring the car in so they can keep it for the day and run a bunch of electrical tests on the vehicle. They don't know and haven't heard of anything like what i say is happening.

I had the same thing happend to me about a week ago. However, it only occurred once. All I had to do was push the button to raise the window up again and everything was fine. Im hoping it was just a glitch.

I am not all that surprised they haven't heard of it.. Most people who had/have it don't even know about it.

There is information about it in the owners manual for the 05's. Most sales people never have heard of it either.
