please help

over the past couple of weeks i have been noticing my car running sluggish. my buddy drove it yesterday and confirmed. it pulls hard out of first but when i hit second its like traction control kicks in. it bogs down and will hardly go. it continues missing until i get out of it. the only info i got about the car when i bought it is that it had cam, but he knew nothing about it. i was planning on an h/c/i swap soon, hopefully the intake next sunday, would this help? what are some intake and cam suggestions? definately aftermarket intake. im pretty set on afr heads. please help me. by the way, its a 95 gt

Agreed. Pull codes. If the car ran fine [with this combo] before a couple of weeks ago, a part of sensor is probably out of whack.

Good luck.

today i cleaned the throttle body, and checked all the sensors by unplugging them to see if it made a difference, and everyone i unplugged made it worse. its running better since the cleaning the tb but i still have the bogg in second. does second just suck in these t-5's? are they that slow stock, shouldn't 3:73's manke it pull harder?

What codes did you retrieve before disconnecting every sensor on the car? Disconnecting sensors is not a proper means of testing them.

Proper diagnostics are required to save time and money.

You should not have a bog.

Good luck.

i pulled 8 from the stored memory: tps below min. voltage, MAF above max voltage, MAF below min voltage, o2 lean left and right, PCM detect coil 1 and 3 primary circuit low, and AIR misdirect during KOER. the PCM and AIR i have no clue about. do they make the o2 eliminators for the 94 95? the car seems to be running even better since the codes are gone, but i am gonna fix it all before i install my intake (i also have questions abou it). what do i need to make the BBK SSI work?

You are likely to find issues like a blown fuse or bad wiring. The car would be running in FMEM with all those errors, so it would run ok. It is kind of a limp home mode however, not a performance mode.

try cleaning your maf. check plugs wires as well as spark plugs. i know this might sound silly but check your accelarator pedel to see if its on the floor. there might be some slack from the cable.

1 of my friends had this issue and i fixed it for him. oh he's happy alright :)
