I've been looking for quarter glass (both sides) for my '89 coupe. Mine are total crap, even beyond some of the repair jobs, trims and fixes I've seen on the web.

Why the coupe glass is so hard to find and so much more expensive than the hatch is beyond me.

When I see ads, they're long gone (LRS), out of stock or expensive as hell for the real Carlite replacement ($350.00 apiece or $650.00 a set!)

I just got these for 175.00 each, shipping included, $350.00 total. They're not perfect and have their share of blemishes but far and away much better than what I have now.

IMHO, price of these has come waaaay down since refinishing them has become popular. For about $20 in materials, you can make your old windows look like new with some filler, sanding and paint.

I've seen redone windows barely catch $200/pair. Only big dollar windows now are NOS OEM windows, other than that they are fairly cheap.

You guys ARE NOT helping...

I may have to see a priest.

5L5: Windows for hatches are a dime a dozen. I don't know why, but I'm envious of you hatch guys in that regard.

90lx: I've been combing my local CL (3 state area) for well over a year. Watch, there'll be a pair for sale tomorrow a block away for 30 bucks.

Adam: That was 3 years ago. I'm afraid if I wait another 3, they''ll be 500 apiece :(

Hey I'm with you... any money you save over what you'd pay new is good.

The dealership wanted 700 a piece when i was pricing... but that was new.

I've been looking so long I'm tired of looking for the damn things. Mine are so bad the rubber on the leading edge (B pillar) has peeled off. If I were to try to do the Plati-dip trick, there's nothing there to build up on.

Last night I see these, and after sleeping on it, pulled the trigger this morning. At least I don't have to look anymore. Maybe I'll find a hooker and keep her hostage for an extra hour or two.

if youre going to tint, yes it will be good to do it before... Well, on second thought I dont know whats involved with putting them in. If you will risk scratching them its not worth it. If you dont risk it, it will make things much easier.

Are you happy with them? if so, then stop worrying and just put them on and enjoy them.

I learned a longmtimemago that if you buy something, don't look around and see if you could have gotten it cheaper. Just buy...and move on
