this may sound dumnb i just bought a 94 gt runs good high miles ware is the fuel filter located i think i should replace it and is royal purple what i should run in my 5 spd and the rear diff ive heard mixed emotions

i have stock 94 gt with 5 spd high mile runs great should i swap all my fluids to royal purple i mean every thing motor oil, tranny, rear diff please help ive heard that is the best and ive heard that it is the worst please explain . and is there any additive i should add to the oil in a high mileage motor it has 145k was thinking maybe lucas was good please help thanks

on an engine with that amount of miles its not going to make a difference.

fuel filter is located under the car,rear,just in front of the spare tire well,crawl under there,you'll see it.

I always use Castrol in my cars. I prefer it. But every oil is different. Don't use penzoil though. It has parrafin wax in it. Not good for valves and piston rings. Just don't go putting walmart $1.75 bottles in your car. I also use Schaeffer's Specialized tranny fluid for all my cars. You can google it and find it. As for rear diff, I don't do my own, I take it to the shop.
