I'm not too sure what the stock number is for the plugs but they are going to be a Platinum Motorcraft plug, that much I know for sure. As for whats a good plug to use for a n/a application, most use copper spark plugs and just change them out every year. I run Motorcraft awsf-c12's. They are copper and are two steps colder than stock. If you want stock heat range, I'm not sure what the Motorcraft number is but Autolite makes a 764 series copper plug which will work. Its copper and stock heat range as well. You could also use Iridium plugs which will are more conductive than platinum but will last far longer than copper. However, they are really expensive.
you don't need iridiums though some say they get better gas mileage and it has paid for themselves. I say just go with $1 autolite 764's and be done with. DO NOT CROSS THREAD. Use anti-seize (just a dab or it). and torque it to specs.. 9-14lbs

no not necessarily. Running a colder plugs are only necessary only when running some sort of poweradder such as SC, Turbo, or Nitrous Oxide. It's a lot less prone to detonation and overheating of stock heat range plugs. If you are staying n/a it's urged that you stay with your stock heat range for maximum results. i use autolite 764's and nothing but impressed with them. With little bit better gas mileage. I gained 1-2mpg but for $1/per plug you can't beat that.
