Time to change the plugs and wires on the 02 GT. Anybody know which brand and what kind of plugs will work best and give me the best bang for my buck? The car is stock as of right now. Will platnum plugs do a whole lot compared to regular plugs?

platinums last alot longer

wires....go fms(slightly cheaper and more then u need) or msd(more$ and overkill on a stock car)

get some autolite plugs and youll be fine...stock cars dont need anything radical

you don't have plug wires ... Leave the coil packs stock.
I run NGK TR45's or 55's what ever they are and they work great. Cheap too. Like $1.22 each -

BTW - the factory plugs are plaitnum but my NGK's work perfectly.

1999+ Mustangs do not have spark plug wires. They have a Coil Over Plug system.
