Yeah, my question too. What did u use for the shading effect on the taillights? That and what kind of hood is that cause thats the one I'm wanting for my Stang...

Yea thats exactly what i used. Just like spray paint, you can do heavy for a full black look for just do it lightly or more of a tint look.

The tires are just some 275/35 Yokohoma ASV ES100's. (pretty sure thats the name) I love em!

The headlights i got from ebay. THey are the clear with black housing. At first i had condensation problems but i just put some Black RTV sealant around the edges and they are perfect now. They look like regular clear headlights in some of those crappy pictures. I really need to use a digital camera so you can see it easier.

Thanks for all the replies, i appreciate it.

Now its time to start building that 351w so I will have some sinister speed to scare people with......

Its the Cobra RR w/ SVO Scoop.

Yea, i tried the NXT wax from meguiars...worked well, easy to take off. Then i tried the Turtle wax Ultimate Gloss or something, shined A LOT more and a deeper gloss with the black than the NXT did. I was pretty satisfied with the looks of the turtle wax but it was kinda hard to removed. So i tried that Duragloss stuff. Its a polymer polish similar to Zaino. REALLY easy to take off and shined up even better. Im stuck on this stuff until i get a new paint job and get some zaino or something.....cant look much better for a 9 yr. old car.

Which one? s-351 or s-281? I was thinking about it. I REALLY want to fab up a 99-04 decklid and use a 03 cobra spoiler. Not sure how much work that would mean but i think that would look the best......but the rest of the appearence stuff will wait till after the motor work. I might repaint the front bumper or get a new one if i can finally decide on one. The previous owner had their share of road trips....

Well, I was trying to think about it, either one would look great on there. Maybe the s-351 over the 281. I think its SN95Stangman just put an s-351 on his car and his car is black... looks killer. I agree with your cobra wing idea that would be but I think in the end it would be too much work and you would be just as happy with the saleen.

WTF mate? the pics are just XXX now? anyways since i already saw em before i wanted to see if anybody already asked you where you got the smoked mach 1's- they didn't look completely black but either smoked or that anthracite color. i'd prefer a wing but i really like how that night shade came out

-edit: hmm, i think maybe i caused the pics not to show... i guess deleting random files is bad

-edit 2: i can see everybody else's pics fine, i dunno

Got to tell you those mach 1 rims in black crome are beautiful! And IMO I would leave the spoiler off. And did you change your badges on the fender or am I just tripping? Either way it looks MEAN!!!

Looks like something out of the Mad Max movie. I love it, it's very original. I agree on the need of a rear spoiler though, like a s281 or boss style, maybe even a cobra one to offset the buldge on the front end due to the scoop on the R hood. Definately one of the coolest stangs I've seen though.

It's a Cobra R (or RR) SVO hood, and many companies like Kaenan (sp?), ABC Exclusive and such sell them.
