Ok guys so sold off my cobra Rs which I’ve had for 15+ years! That sounds crazy. As you know I’m still in my 5 lug swap slowly but surely getting there. So I’m stuck on one set I’ve been really wanting but just wanted to get some opinions from the local peeps. I plan to have two sets my daily’s which is what this thread is about then a set of meats and runners. So I really really like these waffle style and tried my best attempts at photoshop on my phone. Also I had chrome for so long and now I want black. Found a pick from back in the day when I picked up my second Stang from an older lady in San Antonio in highschool to use for my canvas, and obviously stocker, then springs, followed by cobra Rs which are sold and on their way to a new home

The second option can almost pass as a set of True Forged wheels. That said, I like the first option the most on Fox bodies. If I were to change my wheels, it would be to Series 1 or 3, unless I had money for forged wheels.

Ha ha yup that what I thought to about the second set, saw this car which had trueforged wheels and photoshopped off it awhile back. Then I went and looked up the wheels bc I was like oh hell yeah!!! Which turned into oh hell no once I saw the price per wheel!!

You cant go wrong either way. The thing about the split 5 spoke design it its shows if you have little stock brakes.

Thats pretty legit. If I had those, I would be saving up for a nice set of Brembos. Sounds like you are leaning toward them, and I dont blame you. Pull the trigger already!

That's pretty dang nice right there! Like others say, if you get wheels like these, they'll expose your brakes. So the brakes need to look clean and be nothing less than Cobra equivalents when rolling 18" wheels IMO. This is also where the vanity mod's come in to play such as drilled/slotted rotors.

Havent looked lately, do they make them in silver again yet? I loved them on Joe's/ @FoxMustangLvr 's car when he had them, but I only see them for sale in black.

it sure is nice I have the cobras up front and will have them in the rear but believe those are 11.5 or so aren’t they?

Ha I can’t decide. I’m till really wanting the waffle style. Plus I’d have to buy those other ones and then spend money to powder coat again. Which leads into more money bc is want some cross drilled rotors. I’ll decide today though for sure.

Yes 11.65" for Cobra rear. Both wheels are very nice and making wheel choices are very difficult.

I have eighteens on my car with Cobra brakes and the brakes are very visible.

I think I'm running r1 concepts rotors on my car. Wasn't that expensive for four, and in my street driving they've held up fine. Granted I've only done 200 miles

Edit: I think I paid around $180-190 for mine. I tossed the pads in the trash and run Ford/GM pads
