This excellent quality reproduction chrome center cap fits the popular 91-93 style 16" Pony wheel. Looks & fits exactly like the original. Will not fit aftermarket "Pony R" 17x8 wheels.
^ My point exactly. 50resto says for sure that they will not fit the Pony R. So despite Wythors luck with putting OEM caps on, I wouldn't try it. It could be a possibility that Mavromont made the wheels differently 7 years ago.
I just realized that my original post was rather vague.
The OE caps fit the old wheels just fine. In fact, Mavromont didn't supply caps with them, but took mine and painted them with the wheels so that they would match properly. The new wheels are made by a different plant in China and do not accept anything except the caps supplied with them.
