Hey, I bowed to her obvious superiority. What more can I do?

BTW, there's a thread on Corral with probably 25 people bemoaning the demise of PonyR's.

They're whining no doubt, because in the grand scheme of things, there are so many other choices for a decent looking 4 lug wheel that could be had for about 100.00 ea. brand new.

I give up. You're obviously right. I bow to your amazing intelligence and insight. You are a Mustang goddess.

However, apparently Late Model Restoration still has enough demand to want to stock them, by the sound of Justin's post.

then why don you track down the dude who use to make them, buy the stamps and dies and start making them yourself? Since people want them so badly you should be able to make a mint off of them. I mean if if so many people want them it should be a no brainer to pick up where he left off.

seems like you answered my question. When will you be producing a set? You've changed my complete concept of the wheels, i'm going to put them on my lawn mower, f15, maybe even my ricer burner. Gawd you have sent a shock to my core making my life incomplete without them.

You were called out because you don't like them and think the rest of the forum should agree w/ you. I get it, YOU don't like them, alot of people don't like them, but alot do.

Who gives a rats ass if they're old? A fox mustang is old.

trying to figure out where i said my issue was that they were old. My statement was they're ugly. I dont give a if anyone agrees. Too many people get butthurt if someone else doesnt like their taste, i simply said if there was this inate demand for them they would still be in production, obviously demand wasnt enough to keep them going, period. He wanted to be crass about "agreeing" with me maybe if he doesnt want an attitude from members he shouldnt dish it out if he cant take it.

I don't live in China. I'll leave it to OEwheels to get ahold of Demetrios and get the info.

This is getting good!

I've just gotten to the point where I don't argue with stupid people. They just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. So I patronize them. It's more fun.

You didn't say they were old, you said
"What other rims were available in 01? Not as many today, the pony R's have fallen by the road side. Demand just isnt there any more with so many other wheel choices"
To me I read that they are unpopular because there are more choices today since there was back then.
( Its that 10 year spread thing that confuses me, and how I get that you are calling them old)

SO in other words, why stay w/ the same woman from 91 when there are SO many newer, hotter versions in 2011?
Well,....Your Honor,......because she looked so OLD.

As for your opinion? Obviously you're entitled to it. I'd choose a different thread to express my dislike for them other than the one somebody starts looking for them.
Or putting in in more relative terms:
Thread topic: My Girlfriend

OP: Anybody seen my girlfriend? I've looked every where and I can't find her.

Vanessa 91 reply:
Your girlfriend is UGLY, If you cant find her, it's probably a blessing in disguise.

See what I mean Vern? or is it Vernetta?

Reactions: Boydster
