Pop

in november my car started making this popping noise in the front end when I stopped unless I stopped really carefully and slow......it sounds like a creaking noise that turns to a pop and when I get going again it pops back into place.....I have replaced the struts, caster camber plates, lower control arms, brake pads, and the ball joints and I am out of ideas.....I can't find any obvious worn spots or anything so any ideas yall have please throw them out....thanks, Ira

Mine is doing the same thing. I haven't gotten under it to see what it is. If anyone has had this problem let us know.

My car pops when I brake hard. Other than that, I have no pop. But, it could be related.

Tighten down the swaybar endlinks and/or upgrade to poly bushings. Common problem for them to 'pop' around on the threads if they become loose or the bushings wear out.

I'm almost positive that you guys have a bad hub bearing. I had the same sound in my last car. Have it checked out and IF that is the problem, you need to have it fixed ASAP.

if you have a lowered car you need to get shorter sway bar endlinks to fix the geometry of the sway bar. do a search for it on the net and you will find stuff about it and see what the best size is for you.
