So about this steering rack thing you had to install, do you know if this would still be required on the 12-14 models? Reason I ask is because I recall reading a post somewhere from someone that said after they replaced the upper control arms in the front (I think that is correct, I'm no suspension expert) that the computer controlled steering couldn't compensate for the stiffer response and would shudder / skip / shake like you described.
He then said that because the newer models allow you to adjust the steering through the settings (comfort, standard, sport) that you wouldn't run into this problem on the 12-14s.
Do you know if this is accurate?
It sounds like the bushings going out in the front after a few years is starting to seem common, so I'm just trying to plan ahead....
