Has anyone used POR 15 on there doors ? I should be a little more clear. I took off the door panel to be covered. The paint is faded and I really want something that is going to look good. I have used POR on most of the car. Just wondering what people think. Or can you rec. some type of paint that is good in a rattle can
thanks

When you use it where it is going to be exposed to sun, you need to put a product called Pellucid on top of it. It is sold by the same company, that stops the fading from the Sun. I did my engine comp. about two years ago , and many car shows with the hood up and direct sun...No fading at all.

Yeah, POR-15 requires a topcoat of some type if it will be exposed to sunlight. They even tell you this in the instructions. You can use their chassis coat paint or any other type you like as long as you follow the instructions. My friend uses a lot of POR-15. he has basically entombed his car in the stuff. I use Corroless for the most part because I like how it paints much better and I don't have any severwly rusted parts I am trying to save.
