If i decided to use Por15 to paint my engine compartment, would the heat effect it at all?

I highly doubt it, they have some really good stuff. Very tough and durable, they also have an engine enamel paint that i have heard is really good.

I used por-15 & top coat on the engine bay & the engine kit for my 289.Great stuff. The engine kit is just enough to cover everything. Bluest color Ive ever seen out of a can . I used a foam bush and it left no streaks. Havent driven it much but it seems to handle the heat fine.

POR 15

I used that POR 15 on my entire car. Interior parts, exterior, underside, trunk, motor comp. and no problems, no brush marks. It is worth the cost.
NOTE: Where good gloves and do not get it on you. If you do it has to wear off.

good luck
