I am trying to port match my typhoon intake to this size gasket which is portmatched to my powerheads. Is it a problem how some injector holes are shown more than others? The middle port has the hole almost hitting the gasket while the right port has none showing. My gasket is also pretty big so if i was using a stock gasket it looks like my injectors would not even fit? And if I port through this hole will i have a problem with my injectors not sitting in properly? It looks as though if I dont port through the injector seat it should work?

i guess that don't sound good.. I can see these little reasons why this intake only cost 300$$..

Don't even touch it. I would send that lower back. Contact whoever you bought it from and get another. That is not the way it is supposed to be.

I fully agree with that, looks like they had a serious casting shift, I'd get another lower and hopefully that one will be much better.

That may be what you get back in the second intake too. Yes, that could be due to the loosey-goosey Chinese casting tolerances. As far a hurting anything - maybe if the injector is not aimed into the port correctly. Seems like I've heard lots of guys say the intake does make decent power though. Can't tell much from the pics as far as aim goes bit that middle one looks ****-eyed. My advice is that if you port the runners, take each side and roof and bottom back into the runner NO LESS than 1 inch with a good slow taper from opening to virgin wall. Bell-mouting the runner just to match the gasket won't do squat.

that's worse than mine was before I spent about 4-6 hours cleaning it up. I'd send it back for something with the "edelbrock" name on it.

Yea i mean that seems like the only spot that might mess me up a little but ill take another look to see if i can get around that. If not ill just send it back. I must say there is no wall thickness to this thing.. I hope i dont break through but ill see what happens...
