Just wanted to show everyone what I did this weekend. I used a Dremel to accomplish this. The results? Well, I took the car out at noon today and the sound outta the exhaust seems better especially with the 2k range drone. Also, the throttle response seems to be smoother and more even if you will, with acceleration pulling a little bit harder than normal from 2k to redline.
On a side note - I have the back seats, spare tire, jack, and all the sound deadining material along with all of that taken out to make way for a rear seat delete which should be ready for me to go pick up from the people at Spurlock Racing ($60.00 total!!!) this Thursday or Friday, so I'm basically getting the full sound of the exhaust right now which I feel allows me more discriminating judgement of the exhaust note. Special thanks to Dark Knight GT, for his write up on the subject helped me out a great deal and I found his instructions especially helpful during the project.

It wasn't hard at all, just very time consuming. It took me almost 2 days, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I'm sure that time could easily be cut in half - especially with air tools and the right bits. As far as that link goes, I used the search function here on SN to find the write-up, but I'll add the link in a few minutes once I find it.
BTW, be sure to use proper ventilation and a cotton facemask or something similar when doing all of this. Prolonged exposure to aluminum dust is known to cause Alzheimer's disease later on in life.
