So i finally got my loose lifter fixed, got my headers and x-pipe done and got my shifter to work properly, but now i have two more problems. One being the fact that i do the one wheel peel, so if anyone has any ideas about a posi kit without breaking my wallet that would be great. the second problem is my car shuts down for no reason now, and when i go to restart it nothing happens, nothing at all. my lights don't work nothing and the car wont turn over. after a couple of minutes with the hood up and messing with wires it will start. so if anyone has any ideas about that one let me know.

For the power loss, check your starter selenoid, it might be getting really hot and burning out. This happened to me and went away when i changed the selenoid. As for peg legging, I want to see what someone else posts because i am in the same situation as you.

For your electrical problem I would seriously recommend checking and double-checking your ground wires. Make sure that none of them are missing and all have good, metal-to-metal connections.
This sort of thing happened to me not too long ago and it turned out I was missing two ground wires. Just adding the ground wires fixed a whole mess of problems.

I agree with the starter relay being the problem.
Rear ends are not that cheap. You can go to a Spicer distributer and buy the parts but without the tools and knowledge.........
At a shop, Traction-Loc should be around $600 all the way up to the Auburn at $900.

assuming you have a 9" you can get a used traction lok center section from most all ford pickups until 86, in about any wrecking yard and in most any gear ratio if you look hard enough. most of the trucks will have 31 spline axles, but you can get 28 spline side gears from most axle shops and have them swapped in, while you're at it get the the unit rebuilt with new bearings and clutches and you should be good to go. price wise you're probabaly looking around ~250-450 bucks for everything depending on how much you can the chunk for initially and who you have do the work
