posi traction?

i had a new axle put on my car out of an 87 thunderbird, well i was happy cuz it cam with 3.73 gears, but it doesnt have posi. is there any way i could get a diff. out of another car and rebuild it and put it in my car? if so what other cars have posi? or could i put posi in mine....any ideas?

As long as it's a 8.8" rear your posi will work. If the thunderbird rear is a turbo coupe rear you can use the mustang axles and relocate the calipers so the tires don't rub the fender lip.
