Possible American Iron event @ Miller Motorsports Park

I received an email today from Peder Beckman, Technical Director for the
American Iron Series West.

Hello Guys,

We are working on the 2007 schedule for American Iron & CMC and was wondering if we make an event at Miller in Salt Lake City, would anyone from Pacific NW go? It would be the same distance for all of us and Texas would invited too the there would be a huge car count and a lot of fun.

We really want to get you guys up there involved.

Any interest or thoughts on this? It would be cool to get some NW cars to this event if it happens.

Any particular reason they can't some further north. I'd be more interested in it that way.

if my car will be fineshed in time i would take it out there. but its a long ways away from being done and im more concerned about finishing my ITA bmw cause it will get me racing sooner for less money. but i plan on haveing both done for next year.

It they have the event at Miller I'm pretty sure the Brad's Custom Auto Mystic would get hauled out there for the Time Trials event. Peder says if the event is a go it will have time trials. We may have to build a CMC Mustang for the event. Any one that is interested and doesn't want to spend the kind of money a AI/AIX takes to build may want to look at CMC.

now i remember why i was going to run AI instead of cmc it would cost about the same to put it back to almost stock. oh well
