How hard is it to change the thermostat? Just wondering. Im going to be putting a 180* in the next few days and wanted to know if there will be anything I would run in to. thanks

make sure the car is cool & there are 2 13mm bolts (i'm pretty sure that's what they are). undo the bolts & replace it. some fluid may spill, but not a huge amount. just be careful not to over tighten the bolts back down, the thermostat housing can crack pretty easily

I really hate to say this, but just in case. Take note of the end that points "up". Putting it in upside down will cause proplems.

I think they are 10 mm bolts, but either way, super easy, just try not to spill too much coolant.

Don't forget to change the temp at which the fans come on.

How soon do I need to change the temp that the fans come on. Can I drive around for a day or so without getting the fan settings changed?

yeah it wont hurt anything at all. it just wont be effective at idle until you do
