possible mod issue, seems to lack tq(friends car)

a friend of mine has a 5.0 with the following mods:

AFR 185 non-emission heads
F-303 Cam
Ported Cobra intake
Forged internals
30# injectors
BBK intake
Pro-M 75mm Meter
Kirban adjustable regulator
1.6 Crane Golds
255 fuel pump
70mm tb
FRPP Headers
Basanni X no cats 2.5 inch
Borla Catback 2.25 inch
elec fan
3.73 Gears
Subframes
(and a 125-175 shot routed but not hooked up yet)

He wants some more low end TQ because it seems his power doesnt come until hes already going a good speed and at really high rpm, what can he do to change the powerband so to get that happening for him, like a different intake or cam.

that 185 head is to big for a 302, if it was a stroked 302 it might help, or the stock might help

How does he have an 80 MM TB on a Cobra intake?

You could try switching the cam for a custom one from Ed Curtis or Buddy Rawls. That would help.

If I had alll that on top of a 306 I would swap it over to a 347. That would give a big kick in low end torque for sure.

Thanks guys for the quick responses, I'll tell him when I talk to him, I do believe he does have an ed curtis cam he got made for his set up but dont understand why he isnt using it.
oops sry bout that its a 70mm tb, I fixed it in the post as well.
