429 = *glug glug glug glug*

All you could do its drive that thing to the gas station and back. I mean it would be alright if gas wasnt so expensive.

I thought you were getting a h/c/i.

yeah, i know, 429 is crazy. but im willing to pay for it.

and LiquidGT, im stick in the middle of hci, and new car. Yesterday me and my brother had a little chat, and in there he convinced me to get a muscle car. So im thinking of getting the LTD, removing all the emissions crap and make it a crazy beast. Its actually a better investment.

and imagine this, a '71 LTD with the top back, cruising next to a '71 mustang coupe. How sick would that be? VERY SICK!

or even the le mans. Fix it up and put it real nice. man, i cant wait. I just love muscle cars, grew around them, and of course am attached to them.

why dont you just put the money in savings? save it towards a new new car. your gonna need something with decent gas mileage with gas going up so far. mustang parts for me are going on the back burner for a bit until i can get a decent dd good on gas

i have my DD already, thats why I'm looking for a weekender. Im still deciding on what to do. because I've noticed the foxes go up in value the more original it stays. and muscle cars are sky rocketing. Seems like a good investment with the 429.

Seems like your mind is all over the place... "I want that... No wait! I want this! (5 minutes later) Oh cool, I want that one!). The best thing to do, at least in my opinion, once again, is to take some time and think about what you're putting your money into before you do it. You got some time kid, slow down.

I thought you had no solid job? Seems like that last thing a 16 year old kid with no solid job needs is to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a project. Take it from a kid who was 16 with 2 cars (had 3 for a while when I was 17 or 18) and worked all the time making good money... save up and mod your car slowely. Lets you drive it, and enjoy it, while still making it faster.

Also not one of those cars does anything for me other than the tempest, but expec tto drop 15-20K to make it real nice.
