Possible U-Joint Problem?

I have a 99 GT and I'm noticing a terrible vibration especially when I'm going between 50-60mph. The entire car shakes and is really noticable in the steering wheel. I know it doesn't have to do with the brake system because I replaced all pad and rotors before winter and had the car stored. It really doesn't occur though until I hit at least 50mph. Other than a bad U-Joint up front, I'm not sure what else could be causing the problem? If anyone has any ideas/thoughts, I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks

if it eases up when you let off the gas i would say u joint , if it constant on or all throttle , it could be alignment , tire balance or wear problem , or wheel bearing

Yup definetly agree w/ 2002BLGT here on this one...if u only notice the vibration when you let off at like 50 mph its the U joint....replace front and rear while your under there if that is what the problem is.

Thanks Guys!

I appreciate the help guys......after driving it more I do believe that it is just a problem with alignment and/or tire balancing. I was having a hard time believing that my U Joints would go bad after only 36,000 miles. I stored it for probably only 1 month on the tires and then the rest on stands.
