I noticed today when I got to work that I have a very small leak where my header and cat pipes are connected. Nothing major. After sittingin the same spot for 20 minutes there was a spot of water directly underneath it about 2-3 inches around. Also there is a stream of white smoke coming out. Think this could be why she hesitates from a stop sometimes. Maybe a back pressure issue?? I'll get a can of BG44K today and see if that helps.

My opinion is, no it wouldn't have an effect on your cars hesitateing. My 93' LX has done this before I ever replaced the exhaust on it. I run 44K every other month and it helps sooth out the car(s) and gets better gas milage, but thats about it. This hesitating seems so much like vapor lock to me when it happens, but who knows

It could potentially be a clogged cat, which would explain the white smoke coming from the exhaust line. However, this is just a recommendation. It is hard to tell with these kinds of things until you actually get in there and take a look.
